We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UX/UI Design Team Lead (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. As a UX/UI Design Team Lead (m/f/d) at ClimatePartner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our products, ensuring they align with our company's vision and values.

  • You lead and inspire a talented team of 5 UX/UI designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. Lead by example and inspire your team to reach new heights
  • You mentor and guide team members at various experience levels, supporting their personal and career development
  • You define and drive the overall design vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, market and user needs
  • You play a pivotal role as an ambassador for the design team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments
  • You advocate for the value of design within the organisation, effectively communicating the impact of thoughtful design decisions on user experience and business outcomes
  • You oversee design standards and the end-to-end design process, ensuring consistency, accessibility, usability, and high quality from concept to execution
  • You collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, management, and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling, holistic solutions. Identify and validate opportunities to improve the customer experience of our product, which enables businesses to take action on climate change
  • You actively keep pace with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to drive continuous innovation within the team
Who you are
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and a broad methodological knowledge of user-centred design
  • You have at least 2 years of professional team leadership experience, managing and mentoring design teams.
  • You have experience of working in a product triangle (Product Owner, Developers, Designer)
  • You have a proven track record of delivering successful design solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions. You are passionate about demonstrating the added value of user-centred design to the organisation
  • You are proficient in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro)
  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to align design initiatives with business and user needs
  • Your are a constant learner with an innovative mindset. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating them into the design process
  • You are a strong team player, comitted to fostering collaboration, open communication, and a positive working environment
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
